A breeze of happiness

When the entire world is fighting the menace of Corona Virus and struggling against collapsing economies, a breeze of happiness has come for India as its son Satya Nadela has taken over as president of the world-famous giant company Microsoft.  When we have accustomed now to read all bad news, this is hopeful news that, even if we are fighting many problems like unemployment, inflation, decline in India's rating, one of our sons has taken the reigns of a giant American company. Satya Nadela was born in Hyderabad, he has completed his engineering from Manipal University and then went to America for further studies. His importance of becoming chairman of Microsoft is not only restricted to an Indian who has taken over the reigns of an American company. His journey is full of hardships and he had to overcome many hurdles to reach this spot. Satya Nadella took over the reins of Microsoft in 2014 during a time of turmoil for the company. Since then, Nadella has implemented a variety of changes to the company, which has seen a massive improvement in-stock position since the change of power. Through open-source software projects, partnering with competitors, scaling back on first-party mobile ambitions, and centering the company around one main mission, Microsoft has held its spot as a major tech competitor. Microsoft has the biggest company in the field of Software and Nadela has been made chairman of this company. Every Indian should now hold his head high with pride. The most beautiful thing about this news that, how the situation has brought sea change about mentality and understandings of foreigners about India. In earlier days, India was known to foreigners as only the country of elephants and serpents. Now, Europeans and Americans know that Indians are extremely talented in every field and they can change the fortunes of a multimillionaire company like Microsoft.  Sundar Pichai is also CEO of Google and now Satya Nadela has been at the helms of Microsoft. But his journey was not such a smooth one. As every big personality, he has to undergo many hurdles and disasters to reach this highest position. Unites Status of America has been infamous for racism and they hate Indians or any other foreigners is a common understanding in these days. But, Microsoft has washed away this misunderstanding by appointing an Indian, a black in US terminology, as chairman of giant software company. Nadela has dragged out the company of turmoil and losses by adopting new ways and specially focusing on outsourcing.  In 1992, he joined Microsoft and from then he never turned back. Before becoming chairman of the company, he had worked on many important positions in the company. Nadela with his continuous hard work and talent, has reached this position he had been awarded Financial Times of the person year in 2019. With his sheer acumen  and sagacity, Microsoft shares price increased more than seven times and with that, goodwill and share capital also increased in that respect. Nadela’s elevation to the highest position has brought many things to the world. The new world does not give importance to nationality. US does not bother to appoint other than American as their chairman of their prime company. This is the new message given by new world. In recent times, in US, there has been rise of nationalist and patriotic movement. But, it has not affected Microsoft decision to appoint an Indian as top post is the new America. Narrow minded thoughts have been a history now and last but not the least that, no US organization or social activist has agitated against Microsoft decision in the name of nationalism. Congratulations to Nadela for this unique achievement. India should be proud of him.
