Difference between Delhi schools and Delhi MCD schools explained by Manish Sisodia

Delhi: Delhi Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday released a press statement in order to clear the air about the performance of schools under the Delhi Government with reference to the report released by the Central Government.

"Narendra Modi-led Government has released a report about schools and students from across the country, including Delhi," Manish Sisodia said.

Performance of MCD schools in Delhi coming under BJP

This report says that BJP has taken hold of Municipal Corporation for the past 20 years. MCD schools are not in good condition and are counted amongst the lowest category schools. These schools are tarnishing the image of the entire Delhi, he said.

Moreover, the same report has also mentioned the performance of Delhi schools that are performing well. According to this report, the number of teachers in MCD schools is less than compared with the number of students. According to the RTE report, Delhi schools have 98% teachers available for students, which means lacking only by 2 percent. However, Eastern Delhi Municipal Corporation schools employed only 58% of teachers in comparison to students. There are only 46% of teachers in Northern Delhi Municipal Corporation schools. South Delhi Municipal Corporation schools have recruited only 39% of teachers.
