Indian's Test specialist CheteshwarPujara believes that India has got all it takes to beat New Zealand ahead of the ICC World Test Championship final starting next month. India reached the final by comprehensively beating England 3-1 in the recently concluded Test series. India's number three batterPujara has a fair bit of experience playing in England since he was part of the series in 2014 as well as the 2018 tour.

The venue for the WTC final is Southampton, a ground where Pujara has fond memories, as he scored a gritty 132 during his last visit to England. The 33-year-old will once again be a crucial player for the WTC final clash and a five-match series to be followed in England. He has a decent record in this part of the world, as he has scored 500 runs in nine Test matches.

Pujara believes India has a good chance of beating New Zealand in the summit clash as he feels the team is in good space mentally and physically. The New Wall of India further stated that both teams are evenly matched, as reported 

'The Indian team has charted a remarkable journey in the last two years. We have played well to qualify for the final and everyone is looking forward to it. The India-New Zealand final will be a clash between two top-quality sides. It will definitely be a good game as both teams are evenly matched,' Pujara said.

The 33-year-old also feels that India can finally win the five-match Test series in England after their success in 2007 under Rahul Dravid. Pujara is optimistic about India's chances this time around considering its previous experience in this part of the world.

'For sure, we have the team to win in England. We have been doing well in overseas conditions recently. The confidence in the team is high. Our side has high-quality players and if we can execute our plans on the given day then the results will be in our favor against England. India will start their high-octane WTC final match against New Zealand on June 18, 2021.
