Investigation against SDPO began

Chapra/Gopalganj: Inquiry against the then Hathwa SDPO, presently OSD of Kendriya Sipahi Chayan Parshad Kamlakant Prasad has begun. Confirming this SP Weaker section VeenaKumari said that the team is delving deep into allegations against Kamlakant Prasad and soon the report will be submitted.
Meanwhile wife of Kamlakant Prasad TanujaAnand has also leveled serious allegations against the husband. In her application to CID, TanujaAnand has alleged that her husband used to sexually harass innocent aspiring girls on assurance of getting a job for them. He had made a woman of Mirganj his agent who used to take girls to him. CID Weaker section SP VeenaKumari is heading the team of inquiry.
Tanuja has further alleged that in 2013 a person was killed and during supervision, his eyes fell on his daughter. He took her with him on the plea that she would be safe at his place. That girl still stays with him.
In a surprising event, a Home guard Jawan, who was deputed at his residence, had beaten the SDPO to save a minor girl from being raped. The then DM Krishna Kumar had reprimanded the SDPO.
SDPO had demanded fifty thousand from a medicine shop owner and threatened him with dire consequences if the money was not paid to him. This case is also being investigated.
SP VeenaKumari said that all the allegations against Kamlakant Prasad during his stint as SDPO Hathwais being thoroughly probed.
