Chapra: On the issue of collecting leaves of Toddy tree, two groups clashed and opened fire, following which one person was killed and two others sustained serious injuries. The incident occurred today at Chandpura village under Taraiya police station, when family members of one Manager Mahto went to collect the leaves. The neighbors claimed that those leaves belonged to them and attacked them. When Manager Mahto reached there, sons of PrahladMahto opened fire on them following which ManagerMahto died and his two family members received gunshots. Injured persons have been referred for treatment.
