Jharkhand Speaker revokes suspension of four BJP MLAs

Ranchi, : Jharkhand Assembly Speaker revoked suspension of all the four BJP legislators who were suspended on August 2, for creating ruckus in the house. Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto revoked the suspension after parliamentary affairs minister Alamgir Alam requested him for the same. Before the Speaker revoked the suspension, he observed that sometimes action of suspension is taken unwillingly to maintain dignity of the House.
Mahto sent two legislators, Deepak Birua (JMM) and Umashankar Akela (Congress), to bring the suspended BJP legislators in the House. The suspended legislators included Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Jai Prakash Bhai Patel, Dhullu Mahto and Randhir Prasad Singh. After the suspension was revoked, normal business in the House started. BJP legislators brought adjournment motion for discussion on the problem of cow smuggling that recently claimed the life of a woman sub inspector Sandhya Topno. When the Speaker did not listen to them, they walked out of the House.
