Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty told police that she had no idea about the content of the 'Hot Shots' app through which her husband Raj Kundra allegedly distributed pornographic films, sources said on Saturday. Kundra, a Mumbai-based businessman, was arrested by the police on July 19 for alleged production of pornographic films and their dissemination through apps. It is really unbelievable that, Shilpa did not know what her husband was doing with that app which was involved in porn films. Shilpa is expressing her innocence which is a very smart move by her. She has no other way also. Her big projects are waiting for release and she wants that, her image should not harm her commercial success. But, she may not be able to prevent the damage that is nearly inevitable now. Shilpa Shetty can not be ignorant about her husband means Raj Kundra’s illegal activities and his involvement in porn racket. In her statement given to the police, she said that she did not know about the porn app hotshots or she does not involve her husband’s business. Both contentions seem to be extremely untrustworthy. Shilpa is modern day girl and she does not belong to that old generation of forties or fifties where women were too ignorant about their husband’s business or karobar. May be her advocate has advised her to keep innocence forever in the probe. Let Shilpa’s involvement in the porn racket or she knew or nothing, Raj Kundra episode is a darkest side of out society as well as battering of our cultural values. It is said that, Raj Kundra and his team used to lure the young girls by giving a chance in Bollywood and under the garb of screen test, they would shoot them in compromising positions. Later, these videos used to sell in international market. It is very surprising that, if the information surfaced in the media is true, Raj Kundra owes a wealth of 2800 Crore. He was a school dropout and how an uneducated man can accumulate such huge wealth is really a wonder. We should think about the uselessness of education at this point where vastly educated people are finding difficult to grab a job of even a low salary and Raj Kundras are being able to accumulate huge wealth without education. There is no relation between education and talent is true. But here Raj Kundra has not shown any talent but his sheer cheating and making fraud ability. This is really a danger to the society. In future, there may be many Kundras who will be collecting immense wealth by using such illegal ways. Not only that, Shilpa Shetty like stars are also trapped by such powers that she married him.
