During the parliamentary session, in last week, congress leader Rahul Gandhi came to the parliament on a tractor to express opposition to the three farm laws on which farmers have been agitating since six months. Rahul Gandhi’s act of entering parliament premises on a tractor is nothing but sheer childishness. PM Modi may also be enjoying this opposition leader’s childish behaviour. The reason is simple. There are enough reasons to corner Modi government in the parliament. There are immense issues on which the opposition had an opportunity to force the government to give answers. Modi has been praised by whole nation on the issue free vaccinations. Butthere are no vaccines and no jabs. So, the opposition could have asked the question where are the vaccines and why Modi is being congratulated for free vaccination. The economy is completely under doldrums and recent reports and ratings are showing totally a mess about Indian economy. Opposition could have raised the issue of why Modi is not being targeted by experts in the parliament. The government has contended in court that, no death has been recorded due to the shortage of oxygen. Opposition could corner Modi why people died gasping for oxygen on roads in the country. Why unemployment has been at record high percentage and where is the promise of providing two crore jobs every year. All these questions opposition led by Rahul Gandhi could have raised in the parliament. The answers are not easy for Modi. But, instead of playing the role of serious opposition, Rahul Gandhi has just been busy in noutanki of coming to the parliament on tractor. Using tractor is not bad. It is in fact a proud for anybody because Indian farming sector is much dependent upon tractor and it may be a symbol of farmers’ pride. But, using tractor to show opposition to a PM who is far better clever than you is simply childishness. Rahul has always been a product of such childishness. It is a wonder that, why political sagacity his mother possesses has not been imbibed by Son Rahul also? Not BJP but first Navjyot Singh Siddhu termed Rahul as Pappu. Unfortunately, Congress leader Rahul has always tried to prove why he is being ridiculed as Pappu. When Rahul is needed in the house asking questions to PM to which it is very difficult for him to answer, fifty year old leader is simply busy in making childish behaviour. This will benefit nothing neither Congress nor opposition. No opposition leader other than Congress is openly criticizing Modi now. So, everybody seems to be sitting on hedge. He or she will jump once the stronger side will be clear. In such situation, the responsibility of playing a role of genuine opposition comes on the shoulders of Rahul Gandhi. But, he seems to be happy with nonsense moves. That’s why, Modi may be praying to the god that such opposition should remain forever so that he will be safe and secure. There are no vaccines in the country and people are helplessly queuing up for them which do not exist. Still opposition is totally deviated by its original target. Why opposition is not targeting the government on the question of the nonavailability of vaccines. People are not interested in Pegasus or espionage in mobiles of opposition leaders. They want jobs, jabs and vaccines, good roads and affordable houses and electricity. It is a constitutional duty of opposition to keep a watch on whether any government is providing the people the necessary facilities or not. But we have a very shattered and directionless opposition which does not know what it wants to achieve. Till such opposition is there, Modi government is safe, stable and happily living ever after.
