IPL 2022 Qualifier 2: Yuzvendra Chahal happy after RR qualify for the final – Jos Buttler was brilliant

New Delhi : Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was over the moon after his team, Rajasthan Royals (RR), qualified for the final after knocking Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. On Friday, May 27, the Royals, led by Sanju Samson, defeated Faf du Plessis and Co. by seven wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Jos Buttler took the RCB bowlers to the cleaners and became only the second batter after Virat Kohli to score four centuries in a single IPL season. The Englishman became the Player of the Match after he scored 106 runs off 60 balls with the help of 10 fours and six sixes. On the back of his knock, the Royals chased down 158 with 11 balls to spare. Buttler deposited fast bowler Harshal Patel into the stands to pull the curtains down on the match. After the match, Chahal dropped a post on Instagram, expressing his joy. “Special feeling to go through to the IPL final. Top team effort from the boys tonight and @josbuttler was simply brilliant.” The Royals will now face Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final on Sunday, May 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
