AAP comes out with 10 names to contest Gujarat polls

Ahmedabad,: Keen to contest elections, the Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday released its first list of 10 candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections, likely to be held in December this year.  AAP State President Gopal Italia and National Joint General Secretary Yesudan Gadhvi announced the names of candidates during a joint press conference. The nominees are Bhimabhai Chaudhary from Deodar assembly constituency, Jagmal Wala from Somnath, Arjun Rathwa from Chhota Udaipur, Sagar Rabari from Becharaji, Vashram Sagathia from Rajkot Rural, Ram Dhaduk from Kamrej, Shivlal Barsia from Rajkot South, Sudhir Vaghani from Gariadhar, Rajendra Solanki has been nominated from Bardoli and Omprakash Tiwari from Naroda.
Italia said that this is the first time in Gujarat that candidates have been announced four months before elections. Gadhvi said that the party will soon release the second list of candidates. Netadvay said the names of the candidates were decided under the guidance of the party's national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other prominent leaders.
