Amaravathi : On Sunday, KS Jawahar, a former minister in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), slammed the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government (YSR Congress Party) for allegedly seeking revenge against teachers who protested the government during the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) agitation.
"The government denied summer vacations only as retaliation for the teachers' massive protest dharna during the PRC agitation," Jawahar claimed. He also claimed that the Reddy rule harmed teachers, resulting in several deaths during the Coronavirus pandemic, according to an official statement. "Now that schools are open during the summer, more teachers will be sacrificed."
Jawahar bemoaned the fact that Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared to have an innate aversion to education. On the one hand, the new education policy caused a lot of confusion, and on the other hand, the policy on the English medium caused a lot of uncertainty. TTDP leader questioned why the government overlooked the best schools available.
