Uttar Pradesh is one of the most important states of our country and its assembly election is extremely crucial for every party. That is the reason, the incident of violence in Lakhimpur Khiri in the state has gaining extreme importance. With the death of four farmers, BJP workers and a journalist in gruesome firing incident by BJP minister’s son by rampaging his jeep in agitating farmers, the politics of UP has taken central place in country’s politics. The BJP minister Ajay Mishra’s son has shown extreme cruelty in this incident and the so called farmers leaders are not lagging behind far much. Ajay Mishra’s son is responsible for the death of innocent lives in this incident and so the farmers leaders who are inciting farmers on the farm laws who have not implemented yet. The screen play that was being written by farmers’ leaders have finally got success by Lakhimpur incident so that now the farmers’ leaders and political powers behind them can politicize the atmosphere in the coming state elections. They have succeeded in their intention. This does not mean BJP is totally innocent in this entire episode. Modi has not shown any sympathy for farmers by talking to small farmers or agitating farmers’ leaders. BJP leaders are rampaging on farmers’ agitation in jeep firing on them. But, the farmers’ leaders are equally responsible for farmers’ deaths. Now there will be enquiry and the culprits will be brought before courts. But, the people who have died will not return. In entire Lakhimpur incident, opposition leaders like Congress’ Priyanka Gandhi, BSP, SP leaders Akhilesh Yadav seem to be sensing a point which can jeopardise BJP’s election prospects. It seems that, they are more excited about the chance to corner BJP than the actual loss of lives in the incident. At least, their body language tells the same story. They have nothing to do with farmers or their relatives who have become helpless with the death of bread winner. The agitating farmers should be wary about these so called leaders who project themselves as champions of farmers but they have not done anything for their upliftment. No party is exception to this. Farmers are a means of playing politics for them, may the party be BJP, Congress, SP or BSP or any other one. Let us accept that, Priyanka Gandhi went to Lakhimpur to share the sorrow of families of victims. But, why she always rush to UP when more gruesome incidents happen in states where her party is in power? In Maharashtra, there have been daily rapes and murders. But, she or Rahul have not uttered a word of protest. Why this selective sympathy? The UP elections may be revolving around Lakhimpur incident so that all the opposition parties can target Yogi government. Modi should not give opposition another chance to encash this plank more. Modi should immediately talk to farmers and make them understand that the farm laws have not implemented yet, why they are agitating. Also, Modi should tell the country why only Punjab farmers are agitating while other farmers in the country have not supported the agitation. Because, actually it is said that, the agitation is sponsored by Congress. Amrinder Singh, who has now announced to leave Congress, was facilitating all help to farmers. Now he has been silent. People should understand the politics and invisible hand behind the farmers agitation. It is said that, the farmers class is poorest class of the country. Then how this class can have the ability to run the agitation for months without going to fields. One thing is sure. Any political party may be BJP, Congress or any other one, has nothing to do with farmers. They only want to score over each other in the name of farmers. If farmers die, no party or leader will come to their rescue. The family of the died farmer will have to fight lonely the battle of life. So, the farmers should not come under the seducing of them and lose their own life. The life of a farmer is most valuable than any other thing.
