The T20 World Cup is a couple of months away but the discussion about Team India’s chances have begun already. The International Cricket Council on Tuesday announced the fixture of the much-awaited tournament in which the men-in-blue will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 24.Meanwhile, India wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has reckoned that Virat Kohli’s Team India would be favourite to win the title and identified the cricketer who can create a big difference in the World Cup.

Speaking on Star Sports show ‘Game Plan’, the Indian cricketer said that Hardik Pandya will be a vital cog in India’s wheel when they begin their quest for their second world title in the shortest format of the game.“I think it is 14 years that have gone by – it’s very interesting to know that it has been that long -- I think that also means 14 seasons of IPL, so basically, we have a lot of T20 experience in that team,” Karthik said
