Former Minister Arjun Khotkar leaves Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai : Shiv Sena stalwart and former minister Arjun Khotkar on Saturday announced his joining in Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's side. He said that he spoke to Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray before taking this decision. He will join the Shinde group on Sunday.
Arjun Khotkar told reporters that his priority is to restart the Jalna cooperative factory, future of the farmers and labourers of Jalna is connected with this factory. That is why he met senior leaders in Delhi, action has been taken against this factory and the matter is pending in the court. Eknath Shinde has assured him that he will help in getting his factory started again, he said.
Khotkar said that he spoke to Uddhav Thackeray and spokesperson Sanjay Raut this morning and explained the whole situation. Thackeray said that Khotkar is free to take a decision. Khotkar said that he has been in Shiv Sena for the last 40 years as MLA and Minister. He does not hold any position at this time. He doesn't want to talk about Shiv Sena.
