Petrol, diesel prices stable; crude oil at $119.43 per barrel

New Delhi : Crude oil's price has crossed $119 in the midst of the Russia-Ukraine war. However, the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market has remained stable for the last one week.
Public sector oil marketing companies have not changed the prices of both the fuels. Petrol in the capital Delhi remained at Rs 96.72 per litre and diesel at Rs 89.62 per litre on Saturday.
According to Indian Oil, price of petrol in the country's financial capital Mumbai is Rs 109.27 per litre and diesel Rs 95.84 per litre. At the same time, the price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 per litre, while the price of diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. Similarly, the price of petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 per litre and diesel is getting Rs 94.24 per litre.
Apart from this, price of petrol is Rs 96.79 per litre and diesel is Rs 89.96 per litre in other major cities of the country, Noida. At the same time, petrol is getting Rs 96.57 per litre in Lucknow, while diesel is getting Rs 89.76 per litre. Similarly, petrol is being sold at Rs 107.24 per litre and diesel at Rs 94.04 per litre in Patna.
Due to Russia-Ukraine war in the international market, process of rising crude oil prices continues. Brent crude closed at $119.43 a barrel on the last trading day of the week, while WTI crude closed at $115.07 a barrel.
