Hindusthan Samachar: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Indore is the engine of growth for Madhya Pradesh. The state government will provide all possible support to make Indore an international airport. All possible support will be extended by the state government, be it for the construction of new airport or expansion of airport. Chouhan said that Bhopal is backward in terms of air connectivity. There is a need to increase air services here. Also, Singrauliis the power hub of the country. Hence, serious efforts are required to increase air connectivity in RewaSatna area. He was virtually addressing the inauguration program of airlines from Gwalior and Indore from his residence.
Air India starts flight from Dubai and Indigo from Gwalior: Chouhan virtually launched the international flight from Indore to Dubai and the airline services from Gwalior to Delhi and Indore from his residence today. It may be noted that Air India will provide air services between Indore and Dubai once a week on Wednesdays. IndiGo flights will be available daily from Gwalior to Delhi and Indore. PM Narendra Modi's UDAN scheme gave new heights to the country's progress: Chouhan said that there is a need for international airports at Indore and Bhopal to promote investment, industry, trade, tourism and export of agricultural products. Congratulating the people of Indore, Chouhan said that Indore has created history by ranking first among the metros of the country in administering 100 percent first dose of vaccine. He said that I hope Indore city will soon complete the target of second dose.
