'BJP leader' Shrikant Tyagi arrested for abusing Noida woman

Noida,: BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi, who is absconding in the case of indecency with a woman in Grand Omaxe Housing Society of Noida Phase-2 area, has been arrested by the STF from Meerut. Police Commissioner Alok Kumar has confirmed Shrikant's arrest, although it is not yet known how many people have been arrested along with him. But the matter of arrest of three accomplices has come to the fore. He is being brought to Ghaziabad, Noida, where detailed information will be given through a press conference.
A video went viral on social media on Friday, in which alleged BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi is seen not only misbehaving with a woman but also pushing and abusing her. When the video went viral on social media, Noida Police registered a case against Tyagi not nab Shrikant. During this, Noida Police raided many places in search of Tyagi. A reward of ?25,000 was announced on his arrest. The matter got attention once again late on Sunday night, when about one and a half dozen people carrying sticks entered the society in support of Tyagi and started pelting stones. During this, a large number of people gathered in the society and nabbed six people and handed them over to the police.
