Army conducts vaccination and well being drive for veer naris and army veterans.

Jammu: Indian Army’s Northern Command has conducted a vaccination drive for Veer Naris, Ex-servicemen & dependents along with the facility of pension grievance redressal, mobile CSD and medical checkup arrangements at Ramnagar Tehsil of Udhampur on Monday. The drive was planned in coordination with Civil Administration. In addition to the outreach to ESM, the drive will assist the civil administration in motivating vaccine-hesitant people to take the vaccine as also motivate the youth to join the armed forces in addition to keeping the morale of the ESM high. Veer Naris, ESM & their dependents are an integral part of the Armed forces family. The Covid pandemic has disrupted the regular chain of welfare activities; however, the Northern Command of the Indian Army apart from being at the forefront for meeting the aspirations of ESM has also been reaching out to them in remote areas for ensuring their well being.
